Spray Operator – Apple & Pear Farm

Location: Grabouw

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain tractor-drawn and motorized spray equipment.
• Apply crop protection products according to spray programs and safety requirements.
• Mix chemicals accurately and ensure correct application rates.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Keep accurate spray records and complete all required documentation.
• Assist with irrigation, orchard maintenance and other production activities when required.

Requirements

• Valid spraying and tractor driving experience and ability to operate agricultural machinery safely.
• Knowledge of crop protection products and safe chemical handling practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours during peak production periods.
